ONLINE Preparation for Childbirth classes at Sunnybrook Hospital.

This course prepares first time parents for their birth experience. Covering stages of labour, comfort measures and coping skills for early labour, medications and interventions including an overview of ceasarean birth, early baby care and how to get breastfeeding off to a good start.  Elaine is one of several highly skilled childbirth educators teaching at Sunnybrook. Her next weekday series begins April 6, Weekend workshop June 6/13.  Other instructors teach on the other days listed on Sunnybrook’s calendar.

ONLINE Baby Care workshop at Sunnybrook Hospital.

Learn how to care for and cope with a newborn. Besides tips on bathing, diapering and soothing, this 3.5-hour workshop covers baby equipment, when to call the doctor, and parenting styles.  This is intended for first time parents who are still pregnant.  Elaine is happy to announce that she will be teaching Baby Care on March 30 and again on May 4!

Introducing the official Spinning Babies ™ Parent Class! ONLINE guided option available!

Elaine just recently completed the Spinning Babies ™ Parent Educator training and is happy to offer private and semi – private classes in your home or in her own home studio. Recommended for parents who are between 20 and 30 weeks pregnant, the Spinning Babies ™ method promotes ease in childbirth and pregnancy by gently encouraging the body into balance and supporting physiology.  Not just for breech babies, all families can benefit from Spinning Babies ™!
